A: 20 Pennyweight (DWT) is equal to one (1) ounce.
Q: What is a Spot Price?
A: A spot price is the market price for immediate delivery of a commodity, such as gold, silver or platinum. This is the price gold is trading at for the day.
Q: Do you pay for gemstones?
A: Unfortunately we do not pay for gemstones. However, we do pay wholesale price for all diamonds and will gladly accept them.
Q: What kind of gold or jewelry will you accept?
A: We generally accept ALL gold items sent to us and guarantee your payment will be sent to you within 24 hours.
Q: Is the Express Gold Pack free?
A: Yes! Shipping and insurance are also prepaid on our packages. Express Gold Packs are insured for up to $1000. If you wish to insure your Express Gold package for additional value, the United States Post office can handle all requests.
Q: I have fine gold jewelry to sell and would like some extra security in terms of packaging my items. Do I have to use my own packaging or will you supply me with extra materials?
A: Our standard Express Gold Pack comes with a durable bag for you to use. While these bags will generally be enough for any gold item you wish to send us, please call our customer service anytime at 1-877-GOLD165 if you have any questions or concerns.
Q: How will I know when you’ve received my Express Gold pack?
A: You can track the status of your pack 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by using our ‘Track A Pack’ feature. This provides instant access to our online database. To get started, enter your Express Gold Cash Pack ID, which can be found on the top right corner in the ‘Track A Pack’ box.
Q: What can I do if I am not satisfied with the amount I have been paid?
A: If you are unhappy with your cash payment, do not worry. As long as we receive the check back within 30 days of the date printed on the check, we will return your gold. No questions asked.
Q: Can I use my own packaging to sell and buy gold?
A: Yes. If you prefer not to wait to receive an Express Gold Pack from us, feel free to use your own packaging. Please email us at support@expressgoldcash.com for more information.
Q: Some of my old gold jewelry has diamonds or semi-precious stones in the settings. Should I try to remove them before sending my pack to you? Or will you return them to me?
A: Any gold jewelry containing diamonds will be credited back to your account and paid for on your gold settlement sheet. Any gold jewelry containing semi-precious stones will not be paid for. You are welcome to remove these stones before sending your pack to us.
If you are not 100% satisfied with any aspect of your transaction simply return our check or call within 30 days and your items will be sent back to you free of charge along with a check for $20 cash.
